We believe that no one in North Bristol & South Gloucestershire should face hunger.
At North Bristol & South Glos Foodbank, we combine three days’ emergency food with expert income support advice via Citizen’s Advice.
Last year, we helped 16,900 people and distributed 163,000kg of food – but we need businesses’ partnership to tackle poverty’s root causes.
How you can help
Your business can make a lasting difference to local people facing hardship. We’ll support you with resources, guidance, and practical help to maximise your impact.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Organise a fundraising event: From sponsored challenges to casual-dress days, your team’s creativity helps fund vital services.
- Run a food collection: Set up collection points in your workplace for essential items. We’ll provide shopping lists of most-needed items, promotional materials, and arrange collection.
- Highlight our work: Share our stories and campaigns internally and through your channels. Help us raise awareness about local poverty and how communities can help.
- Share your skills, services, or resources: Support our operations with professional expertise, venue space, storage facilities, or printing services, etc. Your in-kind contributions help us direct more funds to frontline support.
One of our team would be happy to speak at your workplace about our work and impact. We can provide posters, leaflets, and other materials to help promote your involvement. Just submit an enquiry using the form on this page, and you’ll be redirected to our latest resources.
What we’ll do for you
We celebrate partners through social media spotlights and impact reports in our monthly newsletter. You’ll be involved first-hand in contributing back to your local community.
What’s more, volunteering creates measurable benefits for your workforce’s wellbeing, company retention, and job satisfaction while building stronger workplace connections. Food bank volunteering offers your employees structured opportunities to develop new skills while making a tangible difference in their local community.
We offer flexible volunteering arrangements, including opportunities for corporate teams to support essential activities like warehouse sorting.
