Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Over 90% of the food distributed by food banks in The Trussell network is donated by the public. Your donations are vital to our ability to give everyone a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
We always welcome donations and will use them to help people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby food banks to support their work, particularly if they experience shortages.
All food and drink donated should be in-date, unopened and suitable for cupboard storage, like tins and packets (not chilled or frozen). We welcome donations of baby food in jars, pouches and rusks, but we don’t give out infant formula milk or powder (stage 1 and 2). We can’t accept anything containing alcohol.
We also accept donations of hygiene products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, nappies, and dog and cat food.
Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
