We Work For Everyone is a free employment support programme for people with a learning disability, learning difficulty or autism who live in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, or Bath and North East Somerset. The programme helps people find, secure and maintain paid work through one-to-one support from an experienced employment navigator.
Your navigator works with you to create a personalised plan tailored to your needs and goals. They can help you explore career options, access training and qualifications, develop your CV and interview skills, find work placements, and apply for jobs. Once you’re in work, they’ll discuss what ongoing support you need to stay in your job, whether that’s help learning new tasks or regular check-ins.
The programme is a partnership between local authorities and the West of England Combined Authority, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund through the Mayoral Priority Skills Fund. To join, you must be 16 or over, not currently in employment, have the right to work in the UK, and want to find paid work.
