Nacoa (The National Association for Children of Alcoholics) is a UK-wide charity founded in 1990 that supports children, young people and adults whose lives are affected by a parent’s drinking or other addictive behaviour.
They operate a free, confidential helpline and email service where people of any age can talk through their experiences, ask for information or simply be heard without judgement.
They also deliver resources and training for schools, colleges and professionals, including age-appropriate talks and lesson materials, to help identify and support those growing up in families with alcohol problems.
