South Gloucestershire Council manages over 50 parks and play areas across the region, all equipped with children's play equipment suitable for various ages. The parks are spread throughout communities including Bradley Stoke, Downend, Emersons Green, Hanham, Kingswood, Stoke Gifford, Warmley and Yate, making outdoor play accessible to families across the area.
Each park offers different types of equipment depending on the location and size. Popular spots include Page Park in Staple Hill, which features bespoke play equipment, a teen area and traditional park facilities. Many parks have equipment for toddlers through to teenagers, with some featuring modern additions like zip wires, climbing walls and basketball courts.
The council provides detailed information about what equipment you'll find at each location, helping families choose the right park for their children's ages and interests. You can also report any problems with park facilities directly to the council. Note that parks managed by town and parish councils aren't included in the main council list, so some local areas may have additional play facilities.
