Al‑Anon Family Groups UK & Eire provides free, confidential peer support for people whose lives are affected by someone else’s drinking — whether the drinker is still active, has stopped or has passed away.
Their helpline is staffed by trained volunteers who share their own experience, available 10 am-10 pm every day of the year, giving callers a listening ear and guidance on next steps.
They also host over 700 local and online meetings across the UK and Eire where attendees can share in a safe, non-judgemental environment, explore how they are affected, and learn coping strategies.
