  • 250g cheese
  • 1 onion (sliced and pre-cooked)
  • 1/4 jar pesto
  • 1 clove garlic (chopped and pre-cooked)

This sauce can be used for loads of different things. Add cheese to use with pasta or lasagne. Swap out the tomato sauce on Pizza for a different flavour or pour over cooked meat as a sauce!

Method

    Melt butter over a medium heat in a saucepan. Once the butter is melted, add in the cold milk.

    Once this is all combined, sprinkle over the instant mash. Turn the heat up and mix. Continue to mix until the sauce has thickened to desired consistency.

    At this point, add any flavour boosters* and stir until fully incorporated (wait till cheese is fully melted if using).
